- Birthday Bash
- Simply Fine Wine is going to be 11, and our Birthday Bash is April 1st (no fooling). We are having an open house from 1:00 - 4:00 so please drop by for refreshments, games and a chance to win some prizes.
- Festa Del Vino
- 2006's Festa Del Vino saw Simply Fine Wine taking home 6 more medals, 2 golds, 2 silvers and 2 bronzes. The Festa Del Vino is a spring event in which local winemakers complete for gold silver and bronze medals. Discriminating judges, who taste almost 100 different wines before selecting the winners, award the medals. Call Patti at Simply Fine Wine for tickets to this fun event.
- Simply Fine Fun Charity Event
- We are proud to support many local charities. Our special event has been a Golf Tournament with the proceeds going to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
- How to Make Wine Seminar
- If you have always wanted to try your hand at vinting your own wine, this is your chance. A simple yet fun presentation will get you started on your first batch. the $165.00 price includes a wine kit and all the equipment you need to begin. Register at Simply Fine Wine.
- October - "Savour the Flavour of Fall" Wine Tour
- Last year we toured the shores of Lake Eries with the luxury of Ayr Coach Lines. The first stop was at the Wagner Estate Winery for a lunch and wine tasting. During our meal and sampling, we were addressed by the Estate's Chef himself, who shared with us the excitement and joy of home-grown gourmet cooking. Our tour touched by the D'Angelo Winery followed by the Pelee Island Winery, the oldest and biggest winery in the area. We stayed the evening at the Pelee Days Inn resort and enjoyed a spectacular Dinner Theatre experience, followed by a buffet breakfast the following morning. Day two of the tour introduced us to Mastronardi, (where, as Patti puts it, they have the "best Riesling I've ever tasted!") followed by Sprucewood and Aleksander's Estate for a surprise visit.
This year's trip promises to be just as fine.
